Roy is presently on faculty at the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music where he teaches the 18 member trumpet studio, leads the trumpet ensemble, and coaches brass quintets. Essential to his teaching methods are the concepts developed by James Stamp, with whom Roy studied for over 17 years.
