Roy's rich career as an educator has included faculty positions at Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, North Carolina School for the Arts, Ohio State University, and the University of Southern California. He has given masterclasses and clinics at the Idyllwild Arts Academy, National Conservatory (Slovenia,) Paris Conservatory, Yong-Pyeong Music Festival (South Korea,) and the Interlochen Arts Academy.
